We will start with an online or in-person project kick-off meeting to discuss project details, assigned prep work, and the proposed timeline.

Your prep work will be organized and shared with you. You will be asked to share business details, style preferences, photos, and more.

If you would like Stella Maris Web Design to create content for your website, we will schedule a meeting to discuss copywriting and images. Alternatively, you may upload your finalized website copy, along with your photo files, via Google Workspace.

Unless discussed at our first meeting, before your start date, we will meet to solidify project goals, outline desired website pages, select a color palette, choose fonts, discuss SEO, and review website submissions.

On our scheduled start date, we will thoroughly review your preparation work and begin work on your website—strategically placing your website photos, text, and branding elements in optimal locations.

If you opt for the visual branding add-on service, this is the stage when we bring your new brand design to life, including designing or updating your logo design; however, if you already have a logo that you like, we will seamlessly integrate it into the new website design.

At the end of this week, you will receive a link to your website’s staging site. You will be able to peruse the homepage, along with a few other pages, and share desired changes, if any.

Once you have reviewed the pages on the staging site, we kindly request that you submit your edits in writing or that you request a Zoom or Microsoft Teams meeting to discuss desired changes. Please note that online meetings will be recorded. All client feedback is expected to be provided within a week of receipt of the staging site link unless otherwise agreed upon.

Once we receive your edits, we will make the necessary changes to your website and send you the link again for final edits.

Once we receive your edits, we will apply them to your website, and send you the link for final approval.

On an agreed-upon day, we will make your website live and send you the link to share.

If you have subscribed to our website care plan, you get up to 60 days of additional minor edits at no extra cost. Please refer to your web design contract for more information.

In addition, if you have opted for our email and/or social media marketing integration add-on service, we will start implementing it at this time.
